Environmental Hazard Communication Specialist – (0)

The ideal candidate will be responsible for environmental and health hazard assessments and is expected to be proficient in the use of modeling programs such as Episuite and OECD QSAR Toolbox in order to aid classification of products for environmental hazard communication purposes and transportation classification. The candidate will also be responsible for utilizing these assessments for the preparation and revision of Material Safety Data Sheets (M)SDS and labels in accordance with regulatory requirements and national standards. Ability to use SARs in the evaluation process and risk assessment experience is a plus. The successful candidate will also prepare REACH Chemical Safety Assessments (CSA), Chemical Safety Reports (CSR), and Exposure Scenarios (ES) for identified uses of substances. The preferred candidate should possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Environmental Chemistry, Environmental Toxicology or related science. Graduate degree is a plus. Familiarity with GHS and REACH a plus.
