ChemADVISOR, Inc. today announced that it has acquired the OHS business, a leading provider of professional services, databases and software to manufacturers and users of chemicals, chemical intermediates and consumer products from Symyx Software, Inc.

As a result of this acquisition, ChemADVISOR will be expanding its current line of products and services to the environmental, health, and safety marketplace to include the OHS lines of products including their industry standard database of pre-written MSDSs for substances and mixtures and their MSDS distribution software package. ChemADVISOR will maintain the Nashville, Tennessee, office location, combining it with ChemADVISOR’s existing staff to form one of the largest and most experienced groups of MSDS authors and EH&S experts in the world.
