Course Overview
Designed to satisfy the DOT's general training requirements, this two-day course teaches the student how to navigate and understand the Hazardous Materials Regulations including classification of hazardous materials, how and when to use packaging exceptions, how to select a proper shipping name and how to properly identify a material through the use of shipping papers, marking, labeling, placarding and emergency response information. This course includes a step-by-step manual and an exercise workbook.
