Course Overview
The target audience of this 1/2 day Online course are Hazard Communication Specialists and REACH project and implementation staff members.
CLP stands for the Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 on the Classification, Labelling and Packaging of substances and mixtures. CLP introduces the United Nations Globally Harmonized System (UN GHS) for classification and labelling of chemicals into the European Union (EU). The CLP Regulation entered into force on January 20, 2009.
In this Online course we will explain in detail what CLP does mean for EU manufacturers and importers of chemicals. We will discuss the criteria when a manufacturer or importer has to notify to the new C&L Inventory, and which substances have to be notified to the C&L Inventory.
The attendees will learn how to use REACH-IT and how to submit a CLP notification to the C&L Inventory.
The discussion of the relationship between CLP and REACH will conclude the 1/2 day Online course.
In a step by step presentation, the audience will learn how to determine if a C&L Notification is required and how to submit the Notification in REACH-IT. During the Online course the audience can interact with the presenter by asking questions.
